This policy explains how Silicon Harbor (“we,” “the venture”) collects and uses the information you provide through the talent registry. We have kept it plain — there is no marketing language to hide behind.
We collect only what you choose to share through the registration form. Required fields are your name, email, city, years of experience, at least one technical domain, and your preferred level of involvement. Optional fields are your LinkedIn URL, current employer, a resume upload, and free-text notes.
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. We do not use it for marketing. We do not share it with recruiters outside the founding team.
Form submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible to the founding team. Resume uploads, if provided, are stored in a Google Drive folder managed by the founding team. Both sit within Google account access controls.
We retain your data until either you ask us to delete it, or the venture is wound down or repositioned away from talent recruitment. We do not retain data indefinitely.
At any time you may ask us to:
To exercise any of these, email registry@siliconharbor.in with “DELETE,” “ACCESS,” or “CORRECT” in the subject. We action requests within 30 days.
This registry handles personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We process data only for the stated purpose — talent recruitment — keep it secure, and honour deletion requests promptly.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and uses Google Apps Script and Google Drive to process and store form submissions. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, and no sharing with social platforms.
If we materially change how data is handled, registered users with an email on file are notified before the change takes effect.
